SNSF Advanced Grant 2022: successful Bernese researcher

Prof. Hubertus Fischer (Physics Institute, Climate and Environmental Physics) has received an Advanced Grant within the SNSF replacement scheme for the prestigious ERC projects. Within the "BURNice" project, his group will reconstruct global biomass burning emissions using ethane in polar ice cores over the last glacial cycle.
